Estate Planning
Estate planning is accomplished using a Will or a Trust and powers of attorney.
A standard estate package includes a Last Will and Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, and Living Will.
An alternative to a Will is a "Revocable Living Trust" to hold your assets while you are living and distribute them upon your death.
We will discuss both alternatives and determine which one is better for your situation.
Probate
Probate is the process of having your last Will admitted by the Court, appointing your selected Executor/Executrix (also referred to as "Personal Representative") and distributing your property according you the directions in your Will.
